Wow--we hit a new record today!

I'm trying not to complain but it still takes 20-30 second to load a page not counting attachments:( No matter what time of day/night. I usually connect at 46-48k+

It may not seem like a long time but in internet time that's awhile.
I don't know much about website design but can't most of the links in the hgeader be cookied?

Those of you with braodband do a little test.....when you click on a link within the site and count to 20 then start reading;)

Everything is fine with me here. It takes about 3 seconds for this page to load and sometimes a little longer if there are more pictures but it doesnt take 20 seconds for me:huh I have comcast(the new broadband) and it seems to be speedy:ermm: When comcast used to be broadband we had a bad box and it was always slow so we caleed and had them replace it and it really helped speed things up online. The box worked for about 5 months then just started to slow down:huh

That sounds OK for broadband but i'm still on dial up:(
I just wanted to give the lucky ones with broadband an idea what us dial uppers have to deal with:rolleyes:
I pay $12.95 a month for dial up and going to broadband would be quite jump for me... i'd rather put that money into the quad:D

Yep, I timed it. It's all the lnks in the header that takes so long, there are like 40 or 50 of them, one by one they load.
The worst part is I can't even read the text while waiting because the page jumps around while it's loading.
It takes even longer to reply or edit a post.
