I went to a shop today and they measured the threads. All the guy said was they were 6.0 fine threads and thats it. That doesnt tell me much. I also found a website I could order the nut and washer behind it for about $7 plus shipping, but I dont want to wait 2 weeks for them to come in. Anybody have any extras?:D

the guy told you wrong dude, i just had to order i dye for mine. they are metric fine 1.0 threads. you need a metric fine 1.0 thread 18 dye if your threads on the shaft are messed up. i got my new nut from the stealer.

Yeah, I just measured mine and the threads are 1.0. I ordered mine through the dealer and payed alot extra $$ for next day air(didnt want to wait a week). Ill be riding by the weekend:D My 400ex is fun, but the banshee kicks @ss. Monday was the first time I took it out and really got on it. That thing is soooo fast:macho compared to what Im use to.
