Ok ill try to sum this up real quick as to how it all happened !

On january 4th i went to st. louis raced the pro quads after i got back home with the quad i discovered that the frame had developed several cracks so i ordered a new chassis !! well i got the new chassis in and i was building the quad in my best friends garage(i dont have a garage just a barn) so me and my friend(no he was not in on it) started tearing the wheeler down and replacing parts i no longer wanted and so fourth well this went on for a couple of weeks and one night he had his car in the garage and one of our friends stopped by(this is the guy that stole it) he bsed with us for awhile and asked ?s and stuff and i didnt think nothing about it !! now keep in mind this is the ONLY PERSON who saw the quad and new where it was !! on march the 7th my new front end came in we stayed up till around 4 am putting it all on the quad ! we both had to be at work at 8 am so this didnt give much time for it to disappear when we woke up the next morning the garage side door was standing wide open and when we went in it was gone all 50 pieces of it !! after about a week of looking the thief slipped up and told one of his buddies that he was going to OH to pick up a parted out 250R(this buddy of his was a better friend of mine we race togethor) well i gave his buddy 100 dollars to buy some parts back to see if they were mine and lord and behold they were thats how we busted him !! the police are just now doing something about it and it has been almost 4 months !! when i get my day in court with the ********* im going to have a reciept for a laeger t-pin front end that he is going to have to pay for that is how im getting the long travel !!

almost im missing 4 parts im missing the lower chain slide(i had a brand new on and my puppy took off with it) spark plug cap shock resi clamps and a seat latch and im good to go !!

Yeah, cops are pretty worthless when it comes to helping you. Now when it comes to writing you a half book of tickets, they work really hard and with a smile on their face. I know, I had a brand new 1997 CR 250 stolen, and got zero help. I ended up spending countless hours posting fliers and searching local tracks and riding areas, but never found it.:mad: :mad:
