View Full Version : I tried a faded heat sheild

With all the talk about fading from one color to another lately I thought I'd give it a shot today:ermm:
I was gonna do it from chrome to black, and I let some one change my mind. I think Im gonna strip it after this next trip out.

i take it, it is hard to fade p/c. it would look real good if you could make the fade portion longer(more fade)

I agree but since there is no blue any where on the quad, I didnt want to overstate it. Like I said, after this ride coming up, I am going to strip it and do it in a silver to black fade. :D The fades arent that hard, I just played with the air regulator, and used a narrow fan to apply the powder.
