Need a frame

I have a 1987 250X and I enjoyed it for a while, until the trailer it was riding on came off the truck. The only part that hit was the front right tire on a guard rail doing 45mph. Needless to say that I need a new frame. Does anyone know where I could get a new frame in Oregon, I do not want to pay an arm and a leg. I could get a new one from Honda but that will be $1500. Any ideas?

you can get a 300ex frame at http://www.servicehonda.com/ for about half that.
A 300ex frame should accept most of your parts with no problem but I am not sure.

Keep an eye on ebay for both 250x and 300ex.They have been on there alot latey.

I have an 1987 250x frame here at my house that was given to me by a friend of mine when he bought his 250x. it came with this parts bike, but I only have the frame, he kept the rest for now, but I would consider selling my at a reasonable cost if you would pay shipping. I don't know if my reasonable is your reasonable, but I am not making any promises about selling it yet, but I would want about 200 out of it.
