i was looking through dirtwheels and saw a web 400ex race cam for $148.99 @ world class atv. The core refund is $150. Does this mean I would actually make money and get a cam??? Also, I promised myself that after the 440 & carb i would stop putting $$$ into my quad but this is like free power. With a web cam do i need to hard face the rockers? Can anyone do that or is it a machine shop deal? Also, how much is an xr400 cam and do you think if i bought one, i could go back to world class and just get $150 for the stocker?

Yeah, If you order a Web cam they will add $150 to the sale price--when you send your cam in,they will refund the money. They will just mod yours and resell as their own. All companies do this. You WILL need to get your rockers hard faced or they will wear out quick. if you get an XR Cam(about same price but with no core charge)you can run stock rockers. The XR Cam has a little more lift and duration over stock and is probally as good as Web cam.

The core will be charged when you buy the cam. You actually pay about $300.00 for the cam, and when you send your stock cam to them they give you the $150.00 back. Your cheapest way out would be the xr400 cam ,because there is no core charge and you don't have to hardface your rockers.

I dont really need a cam.. I think I am just going to sell it for $150. Seriously though, you can get a xr cam for 120 to your door from Terry Marcum.

Yea the $150 core charge is added on when you order. If you cam is in good shape and u send it back in you get the $150 back. That would be nice though ifs they would swap you a cam for free
