ok i just got back after a weekend of drag racing i was riding at buckleberrys and i raced this guy and a predator he weighed about 50-75 lbs more than me and he had a pure polaris pipe well the strip was grass and i started out in second and he did first well by the time we were down the strip which is about 100-150yrds i had about 3 quad lenghts on him, ok and next up there was this guy on a brand new banshee with a set of bills pipes and k&n's well he was around the same weight as the other guy and i beat him too but not by much, but i still beat him not bad for a piped ex!i couldnt believe it! there was also many other fast bikes out there lots of 250r's and raptor and there was this one crazy polaris sport with some kind of suzuki street bike motor in it with a wheelie bar, well he was the man to beat that day it was crazy the front tires seem to never be on the ground, and there was this other crazy guy drag racing on the strip with his escalade!!! well thats it, it was about time i went out and rode some, its been a while

oh and by the way i know some of yall are gonna be like piped only ex? i have the cam and piston in my sig i just havent installed them yet im thinking of sending them back because i am trying to sell my bike

I can see it happening. With that much of a weight difference that is a huge influence on the race. I've seen a 2003 raptor with a 130lb rider run just as fast in the 1/8th mile as a raptor that had a yoshimira full exhaust, twin air-airfilter, and properly jetted, but the rider on that one was 170lbs.
