View Full Version : How do i grease my Axle, A arms, steering stem ect.

Well guys how do you, do i have to take the part off and grease it and put it back on, or how , thaire no grease fitings, also what else would be good for me to grease and lube.

Axle bearings are sealed.(non greaseable)
A-arms shouldn't be a problem unless you're riding in extreme conditions.
Steering stem is an easy job, just remove the upper clamp, clean and grease.
The only part you should be concerned about is the swing arm pivot bolt. The bolt that connects the swing arm to the frame.
it can be a pain if neglected.

so how do i take that out just pound the bolt out grease it and put it back in? i have head of people haveing to plasma cuter the things off is it to late for me to still get it out easy or not?

I have a 2001 and it came out fairly easy. You shouldn't have a problem. Take it out, clean it off, grease it and put it back in.:)
