Heres a pic of one of my frame gussetts

Hey,

I finally got a pic of one of the gussetts on my frame, its right above the top shock mounts (a very common place to crack). My frame is gussetted at about five other areas too I just don't have any pics of them yet. The shock mount tops are gussetted, footpeg welds and frame downtubing in that area are gussetted, and some of the downtubes in the front of my frame are gussetted too. Here the pic is,

Those are huge Gussetts. Looks like he did a good job on them. I don`t think your frame will crack now. Lets hope not.

Where'd ya get it done? If (when, actually) I get an R, I would like to have it gusseted so I don't have to worry about breaking it on my track. :eek:

Those Pictures are a lot better than the first one was. The welds look very clean. I like it.

Yeah the first ones were taken with a POS polariod joycam. These new ones were taken with my brand new HP digital camera. And about the guy that did my frame, he wont be doing it agian until next year. I believe I made a thread a couple weeks before I even took my bike apart that said if you want your frame coated and gusstted for cheap send it over. No one really replied so I said screw it. The reason why it was so cheap is because I know the guy and it was a group deal that consisted of about 11 quad frames. The guys name is Richard Buckley and you'll have to wait until next year to get it done.
