at that level of racing it is definitely the rider, not the machine.

I agree. It's just that now they have a choice.. 250r's still dominate at the local level, but even there the wave is slowly changing color.. Next year you'll see more Yammys and Predators. Honda's quad may be coming, but they left the door open to long..

the 250r will slowly start to dissaper at races and start to become more of a "colectors" bike just so you can own one of the most infelncal atvs ever made. It is ture that at the pro level all the atv's are vurtally idenical when it comes to horsepower, dementions, etc etc. The only important diffrence would really the suspension conponitents you are using but it really comes down to rider skill.

try to find a bone stock 250r around your area. or and 87 or an 89

you can't find any around here. to find one here you have to go south or west like at least 2 hours most of the time

a guy one of my friends used to work with has a 89 250r still in the crate from the factory never even opened, he had 2 of them and sold the one he rode and has this one still and everybody is trying to get there hands on it, dealers and some guy from honda company, but he says he isnt ever gonna sell it

This is also the "Pro Production" Class. I doubt the 400ex can compete well enough in that class, and you can't run a 250r.

wow thats art..................:eek2: glowplug ur right as other people Cough cough ben cough cough think 250r's will just go down the crapper and wont be worth anything......................i highly doubt that...................:rolleyes: :rolleyes:
