how do i get lugs out of the hub that are spinning in the hub. The tires are still on and 1 lug on one side and 3 on the other are spinning in the hub. How should i get them out.

Damn....That means the slines are strip.....

HHHmmmmnnn......get someone to take a center punch or a phillips screwdrive and hit the back of the stud real hard as you try to turn it. If the splines are not stripped, the stud could just be backed out of the splined hole. Either way, it may break the nut loose.

Good luck, you are gonna need it.:D

What I did to just get them off was JB weld the back of the stud to the hub. THe lug nut spun right off and the JB weld isn't that hard to get off. Also one time I just had a friend hold the back of the stud with some vise grip pliers and that worked also.

That's what I did to one of my rear studs. Mine stripped when I was tightening it down though (and I was using a torque wrench set at the proper torque:huh). I JB welded it, let it set up overnight, and then I removed the lug nut. When I got the wheel off, I hit the stud end with a hammer (being careful not to damage the threads) to break the JB Weld loose and then removed the stud for inspection. The splines on the stud and inside the hub were both stripped, so I put some JB Weld on the splines of the stud (well, where there used to be splines:rolleyes: ) and put the stud back into the hub. I tapped it in with a hammer to be sure it was fully seated, then I also put JB Weld around the back of the stud where it meets the hub. I let it sit overnight and then reinstalled the wheel and torqued the lug nuts to spec. That was over 2 years ago and I've had my wheels off several times and the stud has stayed in place.

The studs on mine stripped also, so since the hubs and the studs are both stripped I spot welded the studs to the hubs. I figure if I ever need to replace the studs I'll have to get new hubs anyway. And since I race I remove my wheels quite often, now there's no chance of the studs being a problem at the track.
