I havent cleaned my carb on the 300 since I've bought it, so I have decided to clean it.

Do I have to remove the carb to clean it, or can i just spray carb cleaner down the air boot?

I have also heard of people spraying water through the intake boot to clean it. This doesn't seem like a good idea. Is it?

Also would dirt in the carb cause a vibration at 1/2 + throttle?

Yes to clean a carb you need to take it off AND apart to clean it good.If you dont know what your doing get help. You can have a jet screw just a lil off and it wont run right. Water tru the intake boot is NOT a good idea.It would go in the carb then motor=problems.Take the boot off while your at it to clean it.dont know about the viberation.Probably in the tires or tierods.
