Do you really need a stabilizer for the sand?? They are sweet in the woods, but in the sand not really sure....

Dune Surfer I have not had any luck with the PEP Ive known to many people that they have let down. The problem is the thing rides to close to the head pipe it will fade very quickly.I hope it dosn't do you the same way.

That one is:D and i believe that you have to remove it from the bracket to adjust:mad:

Yep, that is the new version it IS rebuildable.

Tacoman is right, you have to pull a bolt out near the steering stem to adjust it.

I've had mine for like 2 years now... no problems yet.

The new style does not fade and Yes it is rebuildable. Just make sure you mount it high enough to clear the oil tank :eek2:

You know - I hate to say it but I don't dampners are all that they are hyped up to be. I rode all last weekend with my Denton for the first time and it just didn't live up to all the hype. I mean, I could tell a difference - especially at high speed on old bumpy gravel roads we were running in 5th gear, but on the trails in mostly 2nd, some 3rd gear - it just wasn't the miracle everyone makes them out to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking it off my bike or anything - but it just didn't live up to the hype..

To each his own. It made a big difference to me riding chopped up sand. I wouldn't ride without one
