Got 300 bucks to waste

I just painted my friends pourch and i got 300 bucks for the fool job. I was wondering what would be the best engine mods i could get for 300 bucks. I was thinking of getting a nice port job or rocker arms maybe some titanium valve springs. I was wondering what would be the bast bang for the buck for my 400ex look at my mods below i.n my signature and please recomend me somethin.

hey kila, im atvoutdoors.net also, for 300$ i suggest an msr clutch lever, a parking brake blockoff some handguards, full skid plates and a graphix kit, i think all of that will fit in there and if theres any to spare, get renthal rear sprocket

Yeah i was think about getting one of those 416 kits with the je piston but i really donot want to have any crap get messed up right now. Proboly getting used rockers and valve springs.

look into edlebrock carbs, here ya only have to save 100 more

Yeah i heard they give alot of power but i heard alot of people have had there troubles with those carbs. Pluss i really donot like edelbrock there parts for chevys are the only good things the make i would trust them on Atv's.

GET some good tires if you dont already have some (other than stock). Or save $200 more and get some good works shocks

u dont just "waste" money on a quad... for 300 u could put in a je 11:1 stock bore piston and maybe save a bit more and get a cam.

You already have a Stage 2 cam. What you really need to do is put a higher compression ratio piston in there. Stock bore or 416. Depending on the labor the kits are around $150. You definately don't want hardfaced rocker arms. They tear up the hotcams!!

I got all that stuff iam just looking into some mods that will make my quad rip for 300 or less. Yeah i saw the post parting out a 440ex and he has everything i need in that post but nobody has pm me back

What kind of riding do you do kilabanshee. If you ride trails or mx my opinion would be to get SHOCKS, SHOCKS and more SHOCKS. You have a decent start with your engine but if you wanna do the jumps and turn better go with shocks. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Yeah i want some stuff done to the motor iam really not racing yet soo i donot need performance shocks.
