Does anyone with an R with +2 a-arms and +2 axle know what the total width (outside of tire to outside tire) of their quad is? My trailer is 48" wide, but I'm not sure if the R that I'm looking to buy will fit. I think I can flip one of the rear wheels when I travel, but flipping the front wheel will only make it wider, right? Will the front end width be reduced if you lift the quad and then slide it in the trailer?

If you rotate one of rear wheels the total width will then be under 48", right? Have any idea what can be done to squeeze the front in a 48" wide trailer?

And trailer it with the brake discs resting on the trailer floor?? Must be a better solution than that...

Mine's 50" with +2 a-arms in the front and a +4 in the rear. My front wheels are reversed though. I take it this is an enclosed trailer? If it's not you could use a 50" 2x8 board mounted crossways on the trailer to set the tires on.
If it's enclosed.... uhh, put the quad in on an angle? lol

on my R with a +4 axle, outside to outside is right at 50"
you could get some flat steel, and weld it to the trailer where your tires would go(1 10x10 piece where each tire would be).
if you dont have a welder, a exhaust shop might weld it for you.
hope this helps.
