Woulda got a YZF Laeger Frame instead of an R frame.

Or I woulda got a bike if I had to go back to starting riding all over again.

I would have done suspension mods (a-arms, shocks, swingarm, axle, steering stabilizer etc...) before doing the engine.

Doesn't matter how much motor you have if you can't go thru the rough stuff fast. I also don't know if I would have shaved my flywheel. I'd like to see how it runs without it shaved. Revs quick now, but it does stall easier than it used to in stock form. ??

Alot of things. I would not have bought a scrambler and let it get stolen and lost 6k$. I would have bought a 400ex first. had the motor built to the hilt by legacy or FDO, TCS shocks, arens etc all around, simple stuff that works, now that I know what works. I wouldnt have bought my R, if I did, I should have bought one with an aftermarket frame and powervalve, let someone else take the loss.

either would have goten a dirt bike, or a bigger sport quad, or would of saved the money for my truck

Biggest thing I would of done is get PEP ZPS front shocks with Laeger LT A-Arms. Then the PEP rear rebuild.

i wouklda stayed with dirtbikes

I would have shopped around a little more before I bought my R. I could have found a better one for less money. I kinda took it in the rear on this purchase...:ermm:

i would have got a louder slip-on for my zilla then its bark would be just as bad as its bite.

Other than I haven't modded it, I kinda wish I had built it from the frame up. But I know there is no way I would have spend the money on all the stuff I want, just to get a quad built quick so I could ride it.

I would have never went up to 22" rear tires! I not only bought one set, but then bought another?? The poor handling is not worth the one lousy inch of additional clearence - just buy a thick swing arm skid and take good line around the big rocks - Having 22's has probably helped me make it up and through some stuff easier, but my buddy with his 20" always still make it so I would have too. Going to 22'' rears was a rookie mistake...

if i could start over i would of collected all of my money first, then rebuild my quad. not rebuild it as i got the money from working...
...thats why my quad has been apart since august:(

lets see
pep long travel shocks
8" rear rims so I could run other tires besides holeshots(wear super fast)
wish I wouldn't of wasted 330 bucks on a rear shock rebuild

other than that I really havn't done much else mods.
