What kind of frame? And how do you know it wasn't raced where did the motor come from?If you want a Yahmaha that bad the new atv will be unveiled in June. But if that's what you want than it looks like one fine mofo.

i'm guessing its been raced because of racing numbers and all the other stuff but i'd say its worth it as long as it was done right with mounts and cooling and everything.

Well "supposibly" it was never raced what so ever. It was set up but never raced due to $ problems after it was done.

My biggest this is if I do it right I could build a crf for just a little more.

yeah, I think I would go with the crf although I think it would pry cost a lot more if you got everything brand new. I dunno wether you would be better off starting from scratch or just getting a 400ex and slowly mod it into a crf by doing nothing but chasis mods. (swingarm, shocks, a-arms, wheels, tires, ect) then getting a arens crf frame and run your stock motor tell you get more $$ and then swap the crf motor and sell the stock parts left over on ebay.

Well at the cost of the Arens set up it is hard to argue. I can get a 2002 400ex with 8hrs for 3k and could pull close to that getting rid of the parts that I would not need and use the Vin for the CRF. Keep the dale and wate until I find a real good deal on a CRF and once again part out what is not needed. If you really paced yourself you could do it for what some people have in a regular EX.

Anywhere - I vote No. I think you should build the CRF - you seem like a guy that is always looking for a new project. I know, I have a bunch of stuff from your last one on my bike now LOL. Seriously - YOU HAVE A DALE! Get the 3k 400ex and do the CRF conversion over time, it will be more fun doing the whole project yourself and you will be able to do it exactly the way YOU want it.

Remlapr I would have to agree with you. But I have decided that I am going to go ahead and open my own buisness so the projects will have to wate for the winter:D

Just gonna pick me up a doner 400ex till then and have fun on it.

So far, im the only one who voted "Keep your dale." If you put that kinda money into your c-dale or even a 3rd of that, it would truely be kickass! $7,800 is alot of money to ship over :ermm .

Keep the Dale and invest in it for now. Then maybe build something yourself in the future.
