i am wondering about a hmf slip on for a 300ex. will i have to rejet the carb if not will it add any power with out rejetting?? plaease help

won't add any noticable power prob., it will sound cool. Prob. wont have to jet it either cause its a slipon

Have you gone to the HMF web site? They give you the break down on what you have to jet your carb too. I run a HMF slip-on on my 400 and I had to rejet the carb a couple times from what the website told me. It all plays in the altitude you are at too.

dont reply if u dont have the correct information... or anything close to it. Anything that changes air flow will require jetting. Its all about mixing gas and air correctly

It will deff sound faster ;)

And it takes more air to make that sound so I guess it would need some larger jetting too. :D

i am runing a 118 main jet and the needle on the 4th clip, that is with the hmf slipon, and a white brothers header. it has notcible power increase all over. it is worth the money and looks good.
it sounds awsome allso. i would say go for it and get a white brothers header while at it.

wtf.....didnt I already admit that.....anwyays, I found it helpful to run a little spray of wd40 in the gas tank.....search for post for more info on this.. :rolleyes:
