on my bus today coming home from school i was talking to some kid about quads. He was saying how he is getting a banshee with nos 535cheetah kit pipes and basicly every part possible. Well anyway he said that he is gona take the POWERBAND off of the quad and then race me. i was like ok. well anyway that was it just thought i tell everyone. some people are just so dumb.

yea stock power band is blue but i hear hot pink powerbands rip for MX..theres a 3 month wait for those though :ermm:

I took my powerband off a long time ago. Those things are tough to find and take off. :macho

hey dont laugh, i had a cousin that had a kid come up to him about 5 years ago and ask him if he could fix the powerband in his dirt bike. so he said yes, got the bike, washed the engine, and charged the kid 100 bucks. the kid got the bike back and the next day told my cousin thanks and he could really tell a power difference. all he did was wash the kids engine!!! lmao! people impress me sometimes :D

anyway..in the letters section..there was a drag tractor that has 2 snowmobile engines on it. i THINK it belongs to daryl rath..not positive. anyway..it's got 4 2-stroke headpipes comin out the top...and the guy is doin sumthin to one of the engines on the OTHER side of the exhaust ports...and the caption under it said that he was adjusting his muffler bearings:huh

yea that reminds me that, i need to fix my ponch valve, oil my spindle bearings, and grease the innertubing of my headpipe, and rewire my air filter.

That reminds me of a kid at my school who also rides the same bus as me he thinks he knows everything about quads so I showed him a pic of a Honda 400EX stock in red and asked what it was covering up the name and he said it was a Yamaha Prarie 500. I lwughed my *** off and then told him to never try to talk to me about quads agian or ask to look at my dirtwheels the dumbshiat someone who had no knowledge of quads would have come up with a better answer than that:rolleyes:

I haven't replaced my powerband yet, I just keep winding it up before each ride. I hear their good for 60,000 miles anyway. When it's time to replace mine I'll probably go all out and replace the piston return springs while I'm at it.

ya i best be goin to adjust the gurterator on the thingy mo bob. and im thinking of getting a stage 2 hot cam for the ole shee. that should rip after i get my t4 pipe and 128 pwk carbs. o ya i forgot to tell you guys, my power steering went out when i was racing today so i had a hard time turing but it was ok after a while. then i hadta weld up some cracks in my tires but now im ready to ride!:D :rolleyes:
