this kid that goes to my school has a suzuki lt 230 or something i forget, the 4 stroke one though. well he tells me that the thing will do over 100km/h. then he goes on to say its not what you call a stock machine, so i asked him what is done to it, his answer was a pipe and one tooth bigger sprocket on the front. i know enough to know that this kid is full of it, but i just wanted to see what you guys thought.

i had a 230, it worked until everything fell apart on it, previous owner did zero maintence. everything was shot. Then the lame *** kickstarter broke causing me to get stiches cause it put a nice 4-5 inche slice down my leg, and a very deep one, doc said down to the muscle. boo on the 230s

are you sure??? i have done numerous test, a car driving behind me said that i top out at 105 km/h (60ish m/h)... my buddies blaster tops out at 78 km/h... so i doubt your ex will top out at 80.... you got a 400ex right?? if not then you are probably right at 80 km for a 300ex...

It kinda depends. A modified 230 with the proper gearing can do well over 60mph (96.56km/h), but it won't get there very fast. AND, it will take a little more than a pipe and sprocket...

they are a good machine if you take care of them, well that goes for anything,you know common sense things like tightening the chain, changing oil , cleaning filter, and lubing, they are very light, mine is 300lbs and the 87 which i'm selling is 298lbs :eek2:
