hey guys i have a question i have the elka quad rate long travel front shocks and my question is the plastic things inbetween the springs.

my top spring is totaly compressed and the plastic crossover thing hits the preload adjuster thats good i see that on other quads but the next spring the plastick crossover thing hits the top one like i have no travel out of it and the one bellow that has like a little space before that hits is this ok

this is all when the quad is lowered

The gap between those "plastic things" is all relative to how your shocks were setup. The more gap between those spacers, the softer your suspension will be setup in its initial travel. Once you bottom out each section, that particular spring will be taken out of action, and the stress will be passed on to the next spring down.

the top one is always compressed cause its the ssd spring. wich helps lower the quad and makes it eaisier to fly over bumps and stuff. correct me if im wront but i think thats it.
