I’m new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I live in South Louisiana and ride a 99 400EX, wife rides a 98 300EX and my son rides a KTM 50 Mini. Now that is over I would like to install a brake light on the quads since we do a lot of trail riding. Does anybody now of kits that is available?

Thanks

What u have to do is buy a 2 banjo bolts with wires coming out of them. (i have the website to buy the bolts at work, pm me on wed). Put them on your front and back reservoirs. Hook them up to a power line and to a light on the back of your quad. Presto u have brake lights.

I know this an overly simple description. If u dont get it, no problem, I'm gonna do it soon and post pics so it will be easier.

here is the website:

I'm not sure which part number is the right one for the 400.

What about the bulb? Is there a two filament replacement so you can have a tail light and a brake light?

If you dont want to have to order the banjo bolts khightime is refering to just stop by any of you local performance harley shops they should stock them ( that how harley brake kight work),
as for the dual filament bulb just unplug you stock bulb socket & take to a auto parts store they should be able to match it up with a dual fil socket.

Thanks guys, sounds pretty simple. I will gather all the necessary parts and install this weekend.
