its a good eay to build credit you should be able to get one if one of your parents co-sign with you. I got a 5800 loan when I was 19 for my 400ex. after it was paid I quilified for a car loan for 18000 on my own :D . Tell your parents it will help you build credit :devil

I think that yo will have a hard time getting a loan on a 250r. Alot of times banks won't loan you money for a vehicle that is more than 4 or 5 years old. Just something to think about.:ermm:

You have to pick the right bank..... don't use "Smith & Wesson".

when your gettin a loan something to think about is ins if you get a loan on the quad they will most likely make you carry full coverage on it comp/collision/liabilty which is big $ in ny where im from probably more than your loan payment if you get a personal loan you dont have to carry ins but they are harder to qualify for sometimes you could use the quad as collaterall and the might not make you pay ins. shop around also credit is very good thing to have and takes time but there are a lot of things that will hurt it that they dont tell you about like applying to many times for credit getting to much to quick stupid things even though you pay on time everytime you can still get screwed which sucks i found out when i was 18 i got every department store cc i could then wheni wanted a real loan i had trouble
