300ex (another Jetting ?)

I have purchased a used WB exhaust that is on its way to me. I am installing it on a stock machine. I plan to run a unmodified airbox, 350x (carb to airbox) boot, uni filter, and this WB exhaust ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2414831834 ).

I need to know about what jetting I need to change. This will be my first time playing with the jets. Sorry for what I am sure is a beaten topic. But would really like help base on my specific set-up.
And are there any recommendations you have, please feel free to comment.

I have basically the same setup. I put in a 125 main, and lowered the clip 1 notch.
Runs great.

Thanks for the help.. doesanyone agree or disagree with this.. I am not sure because you are in Cali., I am in PA. Could be a different altitude.

i would start there and see how it runs. Even with the altitude you will probably only have to change the main jet up 1 or 2. What i'm tryin to say is that it's probably gonna be similar but every machine is different.

I have a 128 in mine with no lid.

i have no airbox lid i have a 128 main and my e clip is on the 3rd wrung its not that hard u just need to pay attention and follow directions, go into the faq section and click on how to install a kandn power kit by deathbringer, it really helped me, no really,
just order a k and n power kit, its everything u need to know + jets a filter and a prefilter

First off thanks to those who offered helpful advice. Talked to a local shop and they only have 125 or a 130 main. Is this to much of a jump between the two. Should I also try to get something in between ?? I know a 125 and a 128 were mentions, but no 130. They are 3.95 each. Thought I heard they were 2.00 from someone !!

So I am going to get a 125 & 128 main jet, and also a 40 pilot jet. I want to install the pilot jet on the 3rd grove. (Pilot jet is the same as a slow jet correct ??)
Does this sound correct ?? I was a little confused with your last statment. Just wanted to make sure I was on the same page os you.. Thanks for your info, greatly appriciated !!!!

AH that pipe looks kinda bad dude...good thing it only cost u $50 heh ;) and check out the exaust tip its bent to ****...u r gonna have a handfull of work ahead of you to make ur new pipe look good but ill tell u this...the performace will be a lot better...and i couldnt tell u what jets to run u jus gotta try it all plus u got a 300 and i got a 400 so sorry man
