This probably is in the wrong forum. I am planning on buying a EZ up shelter to protect my bald spot.

Any body ever have any problems with theirs? Mech etc. Also does the white really repel thet sunlight thst well, besides getting dirty? Pondering on KD Kanopy or an EZ up.

Thanks.

KD all of the way! You can get an EZ-UP with the same specs as KD for probably the same price once you are apples to apples. EZ-UP is in CA and about a 2 week wait - KD has a dealer in PA with every size and color in stock! If you want an 10x10 with all aluminum frame, heavy duty bag, stakes - $550.00 !

I forget the name of the Company - Ph# 610-485-2015. Great guys - they are also a EZ-UP dealer.....
Popo - An aluminum framed canopy is right up your alley. You could polish the frame until it looks like chrome! Your quad deserves it!:D I would not expect any less from you.....

I have two ez-up 10' x 10' shelters. One broke beyond repair first time out. It was like a hurricane all weekend and the water kept pooling up on the tarp. Overnight it callapsed and broke several of the aluminum bars. I could probably repair it somehow but haven't felt like messing with it. The other one which I still use has 1 break in the aluminum bar so it won't fold up right and you have to duct tape it to get the thing to stay open.

So, do you not suggest EZ-up then Xandada?

I wouldn't buy one of those again, but for $120 I'm not totally dissappointed with it. When I broke the first one I litterally have never seen it rain that hard for so long before. I don't think much would have stood a chance. If you want it for a little shade or for light rain and want something to go up fast you can't beat it. The aluminum rails and the points at where they pivot to open/close are a little weak. I found some place on the web that has a build your own canapy that I might try next.

This is where I got mine.........was $197 price went up in the past few months.

I have been very happy with the quality, and you sure can't beat the price.

You can get it in red, white, or blue top, frame is powdercoated white.

That's a heck of a deal - Well worth the risk! Looks to be of a better quality than EZ-UP for that price range.
I did notice that the 10 x 10 aluminum canopy was $529.00...

I got mine at Walmart. Thought I paid $125 for mine but this is even cheaper (looks a little different though, $100 - EZ-UP Tent (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=2073248&cat=4128&type=21&dept=4125&path=0%3A4125%3A4128)

Well, I sat under a white one at the florida race. It was really hot that day. It was hot under it too. I stepped under a blue one next to it, it was much cooler, went back to the white one, the sun seem to go right through it. I will admit the white one was a cheapie, the fabric was very thin nylon. I'm buying a blue one though.

hey popo galyan's did have 10x10 ez-ups for $100 bucks Alot better than the ones they have in the store. But if you ask someone you might be able to order the better ones. They will say they can't order it but that is BS I used to work there while in school you can order anything! the ones they had are not like the one in the walmart link these had a taller point in the middle and the legs went straite up not leaned in.

I would be the only one with teeth in that store. Too many plumber butts hang out in there. Thanks
