I'll still have another R.
I'd just have to sell my Laeger frame and 2 of my 4 250R motors, and my CR500 link swingarm, and Then get a PRP CR450 frame and swingarm, and the F motor and I'd be set.
My plans of a powervalve went out the window since I just f*cked the bottom end I was gonna put the PV on, and the repairs will be as much as the PV kit. So I dunno...:ermm:

a crf nad yzf have more power then an R.. so he wont be missing anything

Well, even though I dont want you to sell your R, I also think it would be a bad idea. Think, you've got a badarsed R that many people would kill for anyday. You just got it done in time for racing season, and now you wana start another project?
Also starting a project before summer....hmmmm...isn't this the time for companies to reveal their possible new quads? Yamaha is definatly comming out with a new 450, and as for Honda, there are too many rumors just to ignore.
So, in my opinion, its not a very smart thing to do :(

Fix the R, ride it for the year (stay outa tha daym mud! lol), then think about it

if you do dicide to build a 450 Jason do you think it would be ready for nationals??Prolly not since the wait for a frame and everything elses you will need to get...but you would prolly have the other R's engine in your bike for nationals right??I will be nice to see yo on a 4-stroke now though!so maybe you will be able to keep up with me when you come down here!!LOL;) :macho :blah

Austin, PRP is like a 4 week wait, so I could have it done by High Point, if I started it today, haha. I'd be set for next year though. And I could race my other R til the F is done.
