400ex won't stay running....help!!!

Alright guys, I just got done adjusting my valves (first time) and now my quad will only run the choke on all the way. If I take the choke down to half or off the quad will die, I can't even keep it running by feathering the throttle. What is wrong? It ran fine before, now it runs like sh%$! PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!! I'm assuming one or more of the valves are incorrectly adjusted???

nah if it runs fine for a few mins with the choke on then i think your valves are ok. um my friend had the same problem and we just cleaned out his carb and it fixed the problem. try cleaning out the carb maybe something foreign decided to join the party.

sounds like a solution. Im happy I have never had to use my choke in 1 1/2 years of owning my quad. I love the warm weather.

not sure what I did different, but I re-adjusted all of the valves and it seems to run fine now! Thanks for the replies fellas!
