John, how are the EX frames coming. I may be picking one up from you very soon if I am not happy with my frame. I bent the front end in a crash. I plan on putting a YZ motor in the frame. There will be a few things that will need to be done a little differently, but I plan on doing the extra work to save some money. Your pricing on your webpage is 1250$ approx.

I want to do my own powdercoating, because I will need to weld to the frame after I get it.

Can you give me a date of readiness? And a price for just a bare EX frame?

Thanks

a while ago he said he was gonna make a frame that uses both the 400ex motor and the crf motor. Never heard anything about the yzf motor but that doesn't mean much because i'm not in this sub forum much.

I think mxbubs is planning on modding the frame to hold his yz motor.

Arens' frame is intended to fit the CRF and EX ONLY. The YZ will fit in there, but at this time, he isn't designing it to fit the YZ motor. I've heard that if you want the YZ in there, you'd have to do the few modifications (motor mounts) to it to make it work (like MXBubs wants to do), Arens isn't into the "custom" projects, that's how he keeps his prices so low compred to the other guys.

You can probably "pick up" an EX frame after a few weeks of good workouts in the gym and laying off the Hostess Ho-Ho's. I mean really, the frame isn't "that" heavy!!! :D

Yep the Frame is only for the CRF and EX motor only. I think the Frames should be ready in June at least.
