naah im talking about a different one. this one was strait up and sideways. it almost wasnt a whip at all it was like a 90 degree turn back he was paralell with the landing ramp about half way through the jump if not past it and then came back and landed it ill try to find a pic of it.

ive seen that pic before but urek's turndown whips blew that out of the water. its not a flat whip but rather a sideways whip

yeah whips are crazy. I always try them on my quad, on step ups its fun... but its like impossible to bring them back. I am sure it looks pretty gay when I am doing it but oh well.

Pastrana Rules. Period. But Ricky Charmicheal is awesome at tail whips. He basically gets it so that he is sitting on the side of his engine.

I was at hangtown today... ricky got spanked... :devil After batteling his way through the crowd, he was about 6 seconds behind Kevin Windham, who got the holeshot and kept the lead the entire race. What surprised me is that gap got larger with each lap... on the last lap I counted a 16 second lead... the first guy to beat RC in like 2 years! But the next round RC took it all home.

I dunno if its possible to whip your rear end out on a quad and bring it back in the air but its pretty easy to do turn downs.:D I can do em' farther than what we got pics of tho.

I tend to whip a lot at the dunes when i try to jump. Its totally by accident, and I cant never bring it back. Lots of pain from those jumps. :confused2

I thought those were "tweak" whips? no?

anyhow, did yall see Pastrana on 54321 (I think, or Bluetorch). He was practicing on a bmx bike in the foam pit. Said he was workin on the barrel roll and a backflip 360!

umm that is no whip. in a whip ur bike is side ways. and the rear is lifting up not going down. so instead of ur back end leering down it would be whipping the opposite way. thats just a regular turn down

just keep practicing and you will eventually get it.

try to turn your bars to the right, and then pull up with your right hand.... then push with your legs too and the quad will lean, then when it leans, turn the bars back to your left and kick your butt out to the right.... its kinda hard to explain, but you will get it;)

also, you need a jump that throws you up, not out, you need that peek lift in the air, you know what i mean:confused2

gottcha ya...

i guess i will have to go to another track near by it got awsome lips on the jumps...i can sort of whip the quad side ways but then i have to strighten it out becuase the landing is close by...
