I've spent a week on jetting my 250x, new white bro e, k&n filt (no lid) 38 pilot, 128 main needle clip on stock position, (3rd groove) sounds good but when I hit the throttle hard, puuuuh, nothing, maybe I'll put the lid back on. anybody? Oh, plugs have been black as coal, but I had a 135 main and needle up 1 notch, haven't rode since new settings.

when i run my airbox lid off it cuases my 300ex to have bad throttle response. but i have 6 1" holes drilled in my box and lid and with the lid on it does fine. guess its my jets so im guessing thats whats wrong with yours

yup, I have tried running stockpilot(35), but it wouldn't idle, back to 38,bumped up to 135 main, way too rich, then down to 128 (better) took 2 discs off pipe,(12 to 10) same thing, hmmmmm, back to 12, gonna ride at fingers lake(columbia MO.) with friends tomorrow, maybe get some help eh? but it hesitates big time when I gun it.

it is definantly your jets...call up white bros and ask them their recommendation on jetting for a 250x running no airbox lid, they should be able to help you.

thanks, yea I called them fri and left a message, I raised the clip to leanest position and it seemed better,
