Sure! Most will, just make sure when ordering one to ask if it will.
I'd recommend an RPM, laeger, or Arens.

I have a new houser and it seems great, but its a tad bit heavy, and I had some fitment problems and had to return it for a new one (1 month wait).

whatever one you decide on...ASK to see if it does accept a skid plate...alot are set up for mx and dont have the "bosses" for a skid plate.

Burgard Cycle makes Swingarm that accepts a Skid Plate, and since he works with XC riders. If you mention it is for XC racing, then he adds extra re-inforcements for the skid plate mounts, so they will be able to take more abuse. They are only $525.00

I personally wouldn't ride at rausch without a skid plate. If you stayed on the MX tracks only, then you will probably be alright. But, the trails require a skid plate.

About any after market swinger is going to be heavy. If your going from a aluminum swinger to a reinforced chrommoly swinger. My laeger is heavy too.

I would say get a Laeger, Arens, Burgard, or RPM. Then for the skidplate get a PRM or Pro-Tect if you ride trails a lot.
