This is my stock 250r radiator that we washed with a acid and cleaned with another chemical. No paint on it at all!

what exactly did you soak it in. I'm sure others would like to know like me. I soaked mine in just regular water for about 2 days trying to clean all the crap out of it. I'm sure that was a lot faster.

I am right in the middle of re doing my R. I have the it tore down to the frame and we welded new gussets in and re welded the factory welds. I have all new bearings and bushings for the whole quad. The frame will be clear coated on monday and i will have some pics of it. It is a dark metallic blue. Should make the radiator look great in it.

It took about 2 hours and all the paint was at the bottom of the bucket! I will find out the name of it monday. After We soaked it we took and power washed any remaining flkes off. Over all super easy to do.

you should polish it! i bet that acid cleaned out all the corrosion in the inside too! i just mite hafta do that to mine.

There isnt even a hint of corrosion on the inside. Besided a few bent fins, It looks like a new one.
