take the three bolts out of the back of the muffler to take the spark arresator out and run it without the airbox lid unless it's going to be dusty. they both help. my brother wats a big gun pipe for his.

the L is going win... they have larger rear tires for more top end. but im sure the air lid is going to help a little... just dont forget to rejett.....

I was riding against a L once on my ttr and we were just about dead even down a strait. He started pulling on my at the end though. I used to have a FMF on mine and its the best upgrade that I put on the bike. Another good upgrade would be a yz80 front end. Was this race in a straight line or on a track ? Take off the airbox lid and get a filter for it.
