this is what i do when i do my handlebar wheelie. i just put one foot up other on the shifter. shift to first, shift to second but hold up on the shifter, then you rev it up and drop it and get you other foot up and adjust while your front end is up.

250EX's are THE perfect wheelie machine. I can ride a wheelie on my wife's 250EX way better than on my craptor:D
