New starter button for 400ex?

I was wondering which starter button would work best for the 400ex. I want to get rid of my stock starter with all the light switchs and everything on there (also want to take out all the wiring for the headlights and rear, going to race mx this is why). I was thinking about TMM's starter button they have advertised. Any suggestions on starters or the whole idea of doing it? thanks

just get a kill button from a dirt bike. i got a button from an RM dirt bike. just hook up the right wires and ur set.

hey ty, when you get rid of that stuff will you sell me the wiring that goes from the headlights to the socket on the frame?

Paul400ex2002 I'll let you know about the wiring when I get it taken off and all that. So just any dirtbike kill button should work? Does anyone know how much one costs? thanks

Use a kx button there the nicest, there a little round red circle, and they dont say engine stop on them.

they r cheap. if i remember right like less than $10.

I suggest using a CR/XR Moose Kill Switch.

They don't look cheesy with the lil red buttons like the other bikes. They are all black and have a nice rubber covering on them.

I did this. Don't just start hacking away at Wires.

Also you have to put electrical tape under the mount onto the bars because if you don't then you will just keep blowing fuses whenever ya turn on the key...
