does any one know how fast a blaster will go if it has a DGpipe and silencer, fmf reeds , k&n and jets, my friend has on and he says it goes 75 and my stock 400ex dosnt go that fast and i roast him.

he's bs'in you. My stock 400ex, well other than no airbox lid and uni filter, ran 69.2 mph on the gps with a 14t front sprocket and 22" rear tires. It ran 70mph on the nose with the 15t front sprocket because the motor can't turn it any faster.

It will run about 55 to 57mph. He is full of **** that it will run 75mph. Maybe if you push it off a cliff but then I doubt it.

yea i always race him i take him in 4th when hes in 6th and he always says he was in like 3rd
now he is saying he roast me with a vito's 240 kit

if he goes all out and gets porting, new carb, and all that chit it will roast you :p of course you do that kind of work to your quad and you'll roast him right back.

Went riding with my neighbours. They are about 12 and weigh half of me. They have Blasters.
So we did a little dragrace, I told them to hit it, waited a little then punched it and walked right away from them....

But I have to admit, you'll have to clear the way for a highly tuned Blaster...

well lets see, when my blaster was bored .010 over, fmf fatty, and pwr core 2, boyseen reeds, lid off it ran at 61.9 mph on a GPS

mine goes almost 70! no lie either. and this is with the 18's!! how do i know? my freind was going down in his ranger and i was following him so i just matted on it and when i passed him we was going like 55 and then he started to catch up and he said he was at 70 mph going steady down the road. im impressed with bike!

you better get that ranger speedo looked at.i belive it is off a little.just go by a trooper at about 80 and he will let you know if it is off or not

i dunno dude i know it will atleast go 60 for a fact! but that .40 over,high comp. piston and cam did alot for me so... i dont care at all really what u say, it aint gona bother me a bit cause ur there and im here!

I raced a race ready blaster (execpt it wasnt bore out). And he gave me a run for my money but i still bet him. And all i had was air filter, 22 in. tires, no air box lid, and the welds ground out on the header.

I have a 1994 yamaha blaster with a 240 big bore kit full port and polish shaved head bigger carb and i roast a 400ex with white brothers pipe jets k&n air filter but we own a machine shop so my dad did all the work to mine n it flat out hauls i bet it does about 65 but the dude that said his does 70 is b.s.

gps's don't lie dude, i'll go out when i get my bike back this weekend and do it again, i'll take a pic of the date on my cell, the gps on my bike with the max speed reset, and a pic of the gps with the top speed next to my cell. Then maybe you'll shut the heck up.

i just dragged two blasters with toomey pipes and can eat them from start to finish
we didnt top out or nething but theyre probably like 5mph slower then my stock 400ex. but ill give blasters this: they have a lot more going for them then i had ever thought
