what size is a 300ex chain?

My brother wants to know the size of chain is stock on the 300ex? He is going to be putting a 15 tooth sprocket on the front, will that fit?

im not sure if a 15 will fit on a 300ex, i also dont know if he will be able to pull it, what mods does he have

He put on my original 400ex tires. The stock 400ex tires are 20's.

He ordered a 15 tooth sprocket, it's in so he is going to pick it up today sometime.

It will fit but you have to take the case saver off. Why does he want such a big sprocket up front anyway? I don't think i would go so big, i would return it for a 14.

They couldn't find a 15 tooth sprocket to order in so the dealer got a 14 tooth. That will probuably work good enough. But he can also change the rear sprocket, and it is a little worn.

prolly go ahead and change all three, F/R sprok' & chain.
..you wanna keep that case saver for sure...
if he don't want it, i'll take it.
