tonight started off with just some thunderstorm warning and such. then what do ya know, tornado after tornado. i know of 10 total but many more that wernt seen. we were setting in a barn drinkin beer and shooting the $hit listing to all the rain and hail. the closest on was 27 miles away. next was about 30-35 and farthest was 60. havent heard of anyone killed or not. 3 or 4 towns around were without power. its kinda cool to drive around town with no power. ohh and just so you know i am home on leave in s.w. kansas and the OK panhandle, not in vegas. i have to go back to vegas in 5 days :grr  :grr

I live in Reno, I love it. Lots of riding areas. Nevada isn't too densly populated, so there is a lot of public land to ride. And you don't need a registration or a Califonia "green sticker"

Ever ride in Moapa/Overton? Beats the heck out of Apex! Moapa has some of the best riding I've ever seen, and everyone has a bike or a quad. Mostly BLM land, you can go all the way to Vegas, or to Utah. We almost made it to Utah once, turned back because of lightning. We did make it past Mesquite, though. You can also ride to Lake Mead, or the reservoir in Logandale. No place like it.

I think the bad thing about Vegas is that it's probably filled with a bunch of fu@#ing a@#holes from NY and NJ. I think they overloaded Florida so they need somewhere else to migrate to. I was in LA years ago and i couldn't get away from friggin New Yorkers. Just think, New Yorkers will move to your state and build a big house or development next to your riding area that you have riding on for years then they will complain about the noise and shut your area down. Don't think so?? It happens here all the time. Yes i am bitter, here me roar!:devil
