Its possible but the cr carb doesnt have a accel pump.Im not saying it wont work because the mikuni tmx which was used on some cr and yz 2 strokes was a good hop up carb for the honda xr 600 4 stroke. Its a 38mm carb by the way.You will need a different throttle cable too.A 250r cable will work.As far as jetting goes your on your own.Let me know if it works out;)

over a stock 400 carb ?

iam talking about the newer crs they have a flat slide right ./?

If you can get it dialed in it will DEFINATELY pull harder on the top end,you may have a slight off idle hesitation without a accel pump but it may not be too bad.

it'll make it rip from the mid to upper RPM's but it'll cause hesitation om bottom. if there were accelerator pumps on the carb it'd be awesum.

Why not just go with an FCR39? It's bigger and it's made for a 4-stroke.

Why not just go with an FCR39?

for the price of a used fcr,one could buy 2 or 3 carbs from a late model mx bike.;)

so it would be a good deal/good idea if i could get an awsome deal on one?
