Anyone running a #17 needle in their Edelbrock

Ive gota 440 (stroked 416) and Ive alawys ran the #15 needle but I just had the head ported and after talkin to Edelbrock they're recommending I switch to the #17 and start at about 15 clicks which seems very rich to me.Just wondering if any of you guys are running the #17 and where you have it set at.

i am about ready to take a big ol sledge hammer and mash my edelbrock into pieces!!!!:mad: anyway i had to order a #19 and #21 or #23 but i am runnin a #19 i think. my complaint is i cant even use this stupid carb because the spring in the accelerator pump is so stiff my thumb gets tired after three laps around the track and i cant use a twist throttle (already tried) i tried to shorten the lever in the throttle housing but still tough to pull. i know this dont help you type3tom but i just had to let it out.
