stupid mistake... i broke my collar bone tonight...

:( i was out riding today and it was really muddy... like the retard i am i was flyin down a trail i have a million times b4 in my life... i have bald front tires and i hit mud and the front just slid and then it grabbed... rolled the 406 overtop of me and i felt this sharp pains in my shoulder and instantly i knew what happened....

i refractured my left collar bone... its a hair line fracture and i'm outta riding for atleast 3 weeks:( 3 weeks is rausch creek ride!!!!

i'm comin either way i will be there even if i just hve to take it easy... wow this stupid mistake cost me big time now:( :grr

After breaking mine they told me 5 weeks. I was riding 4 1/2 weeks later of course, just had to take it easy:p You may be okay to ride soon as long as you don't get too stupid.

I'm almost in the same boat!! snaped my wrist in one spot and two fracturs and it can take up to 3 months to heal how i broke it!
When they say pain is temp, it's not allways tru. But i still feel like i have gas running through me cause i still want to ride. And i gota go to prom with this cast on and i gradutate with it on.

i should be ok in 3 weeks... its jsut a lil hairline fracture that barly showed up on the x-ray... it just rebroke where i broke it that last time:o last time i was back racing in 6 weeks with it broke completely off...


and man i'm glad i'm not a girl... i'm ready to rip this bra thing off... talk about uncomfortable:eek:

That sucks dude, I remember when I shattered my leg on my YZ80 I had to stay at the hospital all summer for surgery. It sucked so much because I wanted to go riding. Especially if you have a race coming up. Hopefully it will be 100% for your race.
