Is this a good deal??

There is a kid at my school that has a sub and amp for sale and i was wondering if it was a good price?

Sub:
Kicker 12 inch L7 solobaric
Amp:
Kenwood 700 watt
Box:
Kicker custom box
Everything is about 3 months old
With the box he wants $300
Without the box he wants $250
He said he would even hook it up for me too!

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me! That sub sells for around $350 w/out box!Just listen to it first to see if everything works and the speaker isn't blown! (makin scratching noise) :D

Yep the sub is $210 new and the amp is $180-200 i think and i am not sure about the box.

Is this the sub? If so 349.99 @ crutchfield. Plus, the Kenwood amps sell for anywhere between $100-300 and a custom box goes for quite a bit also!

That sure is a great deal. I wouldn't mind having those subs. They are great and they slam too. Currently, I have two 12" alumipro subs that are ported with a Hifonics Zeuss amp. Now I would never be able to have a car without any bass :)

sounds like a sweet deal to me, those subs pound, my friend joes got two 12's in the back of his integra and its just insane

I went and checked it out this morning and it is nice. Its in a box and has a silver grille with it plus the amp is 800 watts instead of 700 like i said in the first post. It sounds great, it hits really hard for being one 12. It will definately have enough for my truck. I am gonna get it next week and i will post a pic to.
