mixing oils????

is it back to mix motor oils??? im running pro honda gn4 right now and im running short on oil, and all i have here is 10w-30? is it alright to mix em' or will it mess up my engine...thnx, chuck

If you have oils of the same kind but of different weight, you can usually get away with adding just a bit of a different weight. If they are different brands, then I wouldn't even think about it. It might turn out okay, but if it doesn't, then you get to put cool new race parts in your motor sooner than you planned. Your best bet is to just go buy another quart or two of GN4 and not chance it.
