Uh oh - some packages came today with Project 400ex parts

Stay tuned for pictures of rims, tires, plastic, and some a-arms (done by Pappy). These rims and tires are killer and the plastic is absolutely amazing. We actually have two sets of plastic for this Project, the other is Fullbore, this plastic that arrived today is something a little different. Pictures in a couple minutes.

The whole group of RIS Designs products that will be on the Project 400ex (including the billet dip stick and cool bumper). The only problem I see with these products are that it took me about 10 minutes to free the bumper from its shrink wrap - but you know they won't be scratched when they get to your door :D

Sweet ITP T-9 beadlock rims and XCR-03 tires. This combo should be killer on the trails and in the harescrambles and GNCC events :D They look even better in person than in the pictures :D

They won't be on the project for long (if at all depending on when our a-arms' from the sponsors arrive) but they look killer. Both front and back carbon fiber look-a-like shiny plastic from Laker Custom :eek: This stuff is so trick in person! The spots on the pictures are from my camera and are not on the plastic. It is very glossy and looks exactly like carbon fiber. It has a good quality and should hold up very well. :D

The fronts should be ready for sale in a couple of weeks I have been told, the rears are only in the prototype stage, so we have a hot and very trick item here! Me, afraid of power? I just road my Hayabusa today - 165+ rwhp :eek2: :D If that isn't power I don't know what is! Just wait until you see what FDO (our engine builder) has put together for our Project 400ex along with Curtis Sparks (the exhaust sponsor) - it will be killer and should be ready anytime (hopefully this weekend but doubtful).

The Fullbore will be here in about two weeks - it will absolutely knock you guys out, I promise :eek: :D :D

I like them! I like the integrated heel guards and I especially like the front tube mount that Pro Armor uses. I've really only got 2 areas of complaint. One is I've got an early set of them and the weld for the rear tube is right in the way of the footpeg. You've got to grind the footpeg down a little to get the pegs to mount flush. It's my understanding that this has been corrected in the newer versions. The second complaint is that the PC seems to be very thin. I dropped my allen wrench when I was installing them and it chipped the PC in one spot. Overall, though, the fit was great and install was a breeze.
