Bent Steering Stem?

I bent the tierod on my 400ex and when i changed it and put the new one on, the tires are WAY crooked. Ive never tried putting on a tierod before, so im not sure if I put it on wrong. Are You supposed to like adjust the tierods or something or put the threads in equally at the same time? How would I know if it was real bent before? Thanks in advance.

lol your steering stem is fine

you started out right with the tie rod, but before you lock the tie rod you need to adjust the tie rod (turn it) so the front of the tires will stick in 1/8" more than the rear for the front tires
