I bileve it is not the brand of brake but the type of material it is made out of. Just like parts. more does not equal better

ok check out this link and go about a 1/4 page down and you will see a graph of the type of brakes and what they are used for. Maybe the MODS should have a look at this and ask permission from offroad to post it in your Tech Dept

I've tried all kinds of pads and the only two that give me a good combination of performance and pad life is the stock Honda pads and Braking CM44 compound. Neither one of them seems to be too hard on the rotor as I've went through several sets of each and my rotors are still well within spec. The stock Honda pads have good performance but they wear out a bit quicker than the Braking pads. Of course the Honda pads are thinner than the Braking pads when you get them. The only complaint that I have about the Braking pads is that they need to get warmed up before they work to their full potential. It's no big deal, just hit your brakes a few times and they are warmed up (if you're racing, drag your brakes a couple times on the way to the starting line). I slightly prefer the Braking CM44 pads for the durability, but the Honda pads work every bit as good (better when cold). The Honda pads are easier to find too, because any Honda dealer should have them.
