Hey, those are some great Black Beauties, I would call them! I really want some shiny Maier Black plastics and get the Honda black seat cover with it! Those look awesome, but not sure on to get fullsize or race cut?
What do you guys prefer: Race or normal?
Do you really get all that dirty with race or is it worth it?
And most importantly, does the shiny black plastic fade away after time in the sun?

P.S. Did I mention they look great!?;)

have you guys had any probmles with the black ? i have heard that it scraces and looks like chit. or is it not that big of a deal:eek2:

honda jay - if you onley ride trails and do muddying and cross courntry / gncc / harescarble type racing dont get the race cut if you do some trail ridding and some mx and some jumping cut them or get the pre cut ones from maier. and there are advantiges to haveing the cut fenders , more visablity , and less air resastance and you can see whats coming up .:cool:

I ride dunes and dirt (desert) and have no problem usually. Once in a while you'll feel a sting from a rock that shoots up but that don't bother me much.... I like the lights on the 400's so I ordered the standard than cut them... I love those fullbore pics thou... damn it.... na I'll keep my lights... lol

Now if you are mudding a lot you'll be covered quick, but if your mudding with your 400 you shouldn't mind getting dirty in the first place.


Now for scratching... I don't know how other deal with it but I can see it getting very bad in the future... I have no scratches after 3 washes but I pressure wash my plastics so I don't have to smear any dirt on them, this way it doesn't get scratched...
