how to spend money

my birthday was last week and i got a bunch of money 565$ all to gether. (it was my 16th thats why i got so much) i am willing to put it in to my 4wheeler. i have a 250ex. let me hear some of your suggestions. and dont say im wasting my money im not alowed to sell it or buy a used 4wheeler. my dads stupid rule. i was thinking along the lines of shocks and a cam.

Offset wheels and Holeshots or Razors. Forget the wheel spacers they are a pain t mount if the wheel lugs have to be removed and the bolt on ones are weak.Go to 18" rear 21" front - instant torque and quicker revs.

You could do front "Works Shocks" and a slip-on, airbox mod and a rejet. Varrroooom :D

oops, you already have a T-4, never mind. Your dad's stupid rule is okay. He wants to keep you around awhile but not in the emergency room when you pull a 40 ft. Seth style jump on a wicked over powered death machine. You'll grow into one soon enough. Enjoy what you have, most 16 year olds are still pumping bikes. :D

Defintely go for shocks. Its the best mod you can get and it will help out alot on your 250 since it has kinda short wheel travel. You could probably get works fronts and wheel spacers for around what you want to spend. There my $.02:D

It really depends on the type of riding that you do. If you are aren't jumping or racing, I'd say you would be happier with engine mods rather than suspension. I don't know about the 250EX, but I know the 250x is short in the power department, and a high compression piston, cam, and possibly a big bore would wake that engine right up. It would allow you to pull ahead of your buddies with similar quads and give you bragging rights.

Likewise with sand riding. Suspension is fine and all in the sand, but it doesn't do much good if you can't get your quad moving up to speed.

If you are an aggressive rider, and you do alot of jumping and very aggressive trail riding, then suspension is definitely the way to go.

I'd spend it on suspension. You can't use the bikes full potentail if you can't keep it on its wheels. That's what I did on my 300ex and what a difference.

Actually I doubt he knows me. I'm originally from Wadsworth. I do know where you are talking about. I'm down the road further near Spencer Mills. I've never been to Amherst. Good riding at Baumhardt. Do they charge to ride? BTW I checked out your ride. Sweet 400! Sounds like you've got a lot of $$$ into it. You usually home in the daytime? We'll have to meet somewhere to shoot the s**t.
