i dunno how long u guyz have been around but if ur like rico and u land a jump wrong and hit the seat hard YOU CAN BEND UR SUBFRAME;)
i don't know of a person that sales a gusset kit but i have seen many people gusset the subby right where the lower angle bar meets the upper horizontal frame bar in that V... also they put a angle bar from those 2 rails about 3/4 the way down to the foot pegs so it don't bend there...

Well I dont think it would be hard to gusset your (sub) frame, so long as you know about cutting metal and welding :D Next person how gussets their frame post pics of the metal they cut :D
If you can get a hold of Beerock he can probaly post/draw a pic of all the gussets you need (I am pretty sure its Beerock who used to do it, he is gone now...)
Good luck!

all I did was cut cardboard in to the shape I needed. then test fitted the carboard where I wanted a gusset, then trim up the cardboard until it fit good. The I put the cardboard on the metal and draw a line around it. I cut it out with a angle grinder. test fitted it and trim it up until it fit good. Then I MIG weld it in.
I used 1/4 inch mild steel. I don't recommend this thick of steel . I think 1/8 or 3/16 is better suited. I also drill a bunch of holes to lose some of the weight of the extra think steel and to have more of a custom look. I happy with results. I'm always looking at and I will I had some of the things diffrantly but I think I did a good jobs for my first time.
If I had more time and better tools I would done by the swing are bolt and have reloacted the rear shock mount for a long travel axis shock. But I did have the money for the shock and I want to get the quad to gather.
Plus I think its a good job to run the edge on the triangle gusset because it ends up being strong I think. And you want to becarful not to over gusset surtain parts of the frame.

Just got an idea from SickO :D You could get some playdo, silly putty, or what ever and mold it into the frame and just make it flat, then copy the design to steel, or a piece of cardboard for an extra test. That would give a pretty good fit, even though the weld will fill the gap if needed :D

I just got my frame gusssetted and reinforced over the winter when we had a rebuild. It is the best job i've seen done so far. A lot of research and time was put into the developing of everything. The company is called TC Fabrication. Only 1 person is doing it right now on the side. He welds for a living. I don't have any good close up pics of my frame but I should have some of a bare frame that was just done and gussetted by mid next week. I believe he is charging $250 for gussetting everything. If anyone is interested I can get you more information. There's a gusset at every weak spot that has been known to crack/break or stressed. Feel free to email me at atvmxrider@epix.net for inofo.
