if i may make a suggestion... get a yz400f motor, i've heard from a guy i know who raced pro on a yz400, on he said that on his 98, he never had a problem with the tranny, but his buddies were going through 5th gear like mad on their newer bikes. Just a little info, plus, from what i've heard, the 400 pull harder than the 426.
